Over the past 30 years, Tom has had a diverse mix of private and public sector experiences both as an entrepreneur and economic development professional. Currently, he is the Director of Community and Economic Development with Ogden City Corporation.
Over the past 7 years, he and his organization have directly facilitated the re-envisioning of Ogden and repositioning the City as a major economic player. Performing significantly above what would be expected of most small town redeveloping communities.
He has pioneered a fully integrated approach to economic development as a foundational element of a community’s long range plan.
In addition to his public sector employment with Ogden City, was and Founder of Singleedge Inc., a Data Center founded in 2001 as well as a number of other private companies prior to his involvement with the City. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in International Relations and his graduate degree was obtained from Pepperdine University in Organizational Development.
